Participating in a Workflow Step

When You Are Assigned

You receive an email notification when a step assigned to you becomes active. The item also appears in your dashboard inbox.

Submitting Your Response

  1. Navigate to the transmittal or letter detail page, Workflow tab.
  2. Find your step (marked as "Active").
  3. Review the correspondence details and any prior step submissions.
  4. Write a comment (mandatory if the step requires it).
  5. Optionally attach files:
    • Upload new files.
    • Re-use existing files from the correspondence (documents, additional files, or previous workflow attachments).
    • For PDFs, use the built-in PDF editor to mark up documents.
  6. Click "Submit".

After all participants submit, the step is marked Complete. The next step activates automatically (with email notifications), or the workflow completes if no more steps remain.
