Additional Files #

Transmittals can carry additional files alongside the formal documents. These are non-document attachments such as cover letters, calculation sheets, or transmittal sheets.

Uploading: Add files during transmittal creation or when editing a draft. Files upload directly to cloud storage with progress tracking. Failed uploads can be retried.

Searching: A dedicated file search feature allows searching across all additional files by name, status, and transmittal.

Transmittal sheet detection: PDF files whose names match the transmittal reference number are automatically highlighted with a "Transmittal Sheet" badge.

CC Receivers #

CC (carbon copy) receivers are companies granted view-only access to a transmittal.

• CC receivers can view the transmittal, its documents, and all attached files.
• CC receivers cannot return the transmittal for modification or create response transmittals.
• In the registry, CC-received transmittals show a "CC" badge.
• Draft transmittals are not visible to CC receivers.

Custom Fields on Transmittals #

Transmittals support the same project-level custom fields as documents. These fields are configured in Project Settings and appear on the transmittal creation and editing forms.

Field types: Text, Number, Date, Single Select, Multi Select.
