Adding Images and Pages in the PDF Editor
Use Add content in the PDF Editor header to add supporting material without leaving the editor. For page insertions, first choose the page that the new content should follow, then choose one of these actions:
- Blank page inserts an empty page with the same size and rotation as the selected page.
- Pages from another PDF uploads a PDF and inserts all of its pages immediately after the selected page.
- Image as a new page converts an uploaded PNG or JPEG into a page and inserts it immediately after the selected page.
- Image on a page uploads a PNG or JPEG as a movable, resizable image overlay. After choosing the image, click anywhere in the document to place it, then reposition or resize it like a stamp.
All added content is included in the editor's normal automatic save. Existing annotations and form edits are preserved when pages are inserted.
Inserting Pages
When you need to add pages to a PDF:
- Open the PDF Editor for a document version.
- Click Add content in the header.
- In the "Insert new pages after" selector, choose which page the new content should follow.
- Select the insertion type:
- Blank page for a clean page of the same dimensions.
- Pages from another PDF to merge another document's pages.
- Image as a new page to convert an image to a full page.
The new pages appear immediately and are saved automatically.
Adding Image Overlays
To place an image as an annotation on an existing page:
- Click Add content → Image on a page.
- Upload a PNG or JPEG file.
- Click anywhere in the document to place the image.
- Drag to reposition or use the corner handles to resize.
- The image is saved automatically as part of the document.
This is useful for adding logos, diagrams, or supplementary visuals without altering the underlying page content.
